When people ask me what I do, I usually say, "I own a travel agency." But the truth is...I didn't build Wanderlust Amigas® just to book vacations. I built it because I believe travel can change the way we see ourselves.
Years ago, I realized that many women spend their lives taking care of everyone else. Careers. Children. Parents. Spouses. Responsibilities. Somewhere along the way, their own dreams get placed on the back burner.
I wanted to create something different. Not just another travel agency focused on finding the lowest price.
I wanted to build a community where women could feel confident enough to travel, even if it was their first time stepping outside their comfort zone. A place where lifelong friendships begin over airport coffee, conversations deepen during sunset dinners, and strangers return home feeling like family.
That's why we plan experiences with intention. It's why we choose boutique hotels over crowded tourist spots when we can.
It's why we build in moments to connect—not just check destinations off a list. Because I don't believe the destination is the most important part of the journey. The transformation is.
Today, Wanderlust Amigas® continues to grow, but our mission remains the same: To create meaningful travel experiences that inspire confidence, connection, and unforgettable memories.
If someone returns home believing a little more in themselves than when they left, then we've done our job. That's the business I wanted to build. Not just another travel agency.
